So following some good weather I've managed to grab a few more Messier's for my Messier 40 Sketching award

All pretty awesome to find and view, however, M42..........wow! I've enjoyed eyeballing Saturn, M31, Jupiter etc etc but at this stage nothing I've seen really competes with M42.

I observed M42 before dawn and as the light began to change the greenish tinge really stood out - fabulous.
