but just too much going on to do a full set up and night.. even with the the 4 SE....(now where did I put that OTA?)

Big night tonight for family astronomy.
My geologist niece is here. I am setting up Phoenix (8iSE) that my wife has shown interest in to see if she will enjoy the scope more.
And my full CGEM 9.25"
So its family night.. and I am hoping it might be good enough to image after they all get tired.. a rate good night. Even July has been a bust... so it was nice to see Clear Sky Clock actually improve this morning vs go to heck like normal. Its 7:50PM

No live blogging of the events.. as I was busy with my scope!!
But I did get an unexpected decent night for PEC training the CGEM.
The air dried out and at 8PM I had 95% clear skies.. So I started the process again.
Put the OTA out to cool. Checked satellite images. No thick clouds until central Oregon.
Checked to see why Clear Sky Clock said it should be mostly cloudy. Looked like the Canadian model had
6/23/2012 8:52 PM The sky is clearing! ClearSkyClock until this AM was talking about a nice clearing all night. Then it changed.
Right now it looks like the previous forecast might have been better.
There is a slight off shore flow from the south. This with an opening hole over western WA that has me hoping.
Putting the C9.25 out to cool and downloading BYEOS, though if I just get the mount PEC trained tonight I will be happy.
