Default Anyone have the Optic 1050 binoculars?

Just wondering has anyone bought the "as seen on tv" optic 1050 binoculars and are they any good. Can you really see how far they say you can. Just wondering on some reviews

    Thanks

They are just very cheaply made 10x50 binoculars. Yes, you can see that far, but only from a mountain, as the earth's curvature prevents you from seeing much more than 3 miles if you are on flat ground.
For less money, you can get some Bushnell 10x50s that are better. If you really want to see far, search Amazon.com for Celestron's Skymaster series.

The $35 spent on the optic should be applied to the purchase of a real binocular - my friend fell for this add and now regrets it.

I can see the moon every night with my naked eye - why buy a binocular to see 35 miles???
