Default Cheap "giant" binoculars are they all pretty much the same?

Barska 20x80 Cosmos $240
Barska 20x80 $106
Barska 15x70 $60
Celestron 25x100 $298
Celestron 20x80 $199
Celestron 15x70 $84
Konus 20x80 $68
Oberwerk 20x90 $300
Oberwerk 20x80 Deluxe II $280
Oberwerk 20x80 $230
Oberwerk 15x70 $150
Zhumell 20x80 $140

My family has a rural bed and breakfast, with a 3+ acres of meadows and another 3+ acres of woods.
It is very popular with bird watchers, but it has been pointed out that it is very dark with good horizons, making it good for astronomy too.
We'd like to get some binoculars for our guests to use. Perhaps 2 pairs of 15x70's and 1 pair of 20x80 or larger.
Are the more expensive Oberweks any better than the others? I would have expected the Celestrons to cost more...
I'd appreciate any experiences you've had with these or similar. Thanks.

I'm considering the Obie 15x70s myself.

Not sure where you posting from but take a look at [Registered users can see links. ] and [Registered users can see links. ] for comparisons and a lot of good information.

The message editor's autocomplete function here is populating the URLs with advertising boilerplate...I only meant to list the URLs and am not a shill for either vendor.

Not a drama, Kit, that's just how the function here works. It is a lot more user friendly than some, and we know that it is not vendor driven. Your input is appreciated.
