    Default 30mm for night ?

    Hello,
I have had the great luck of being able to use the small Habicht 8x30 for a few weeks, during the day and during the night ...
As a daytime binocular it seems to me, in a word, fantastic !!, with an incredible sharpness and luminosity for the size of the lens it has, the grip is very good, at least for the size of my hands, it weighs a little and is very manageable, eye relief also very good, I do not wear glasses to observe, landscapes and plumage of the birds ... a wonder,
As a binocular for night observation, I have my reservations since 30mm is that same, 30mm and you can not stretch more, the vision of the Moon, wow! sharpness and luminosity, brilliance..no CA.
As an observer of deep sky, stellar landscapes and others I think it falls very short ... before I had a 10x30 and I thought the same, very scarce.
    best regards

Quality of optics makes observing more enjoyable (sharper stars, etc.) but it is no substitute for the aperture on DSOs.
