Awesome! Congratulations! I'm looking forward to hearing your review. I'm not jealous, of course...

What eyepieces are you planning to use other than the supplied ones? I see they guarantee their collimation up to "extreme magnifications", so they should give you some great views.

    All the best,

Hi Ozman. Wow, these make my Celestron 15x70s look weak. Thanks for your new equipment ordered report Ozman, and I too am waiting for a first light report.

I already have a few pairs of EPs that I use with the binoviewer. I have pairs of 25mm Meade HD60s, ES 24mm 68s, WO 20mm 70s (came with the binoviewer), ES 14mm and 11mm 82s. I plan to buy a match for the ES 6.7mm 82 and possibly the 8.8mm 82. I may get a pair of shorter length EPs but I'm not sure if I want to go as far as the ES 4.7mm 82s (some have reported good results with a 5mm), we'll have to see.

They come with Oberwerk's 14mm EPs, so I'll do some direct comparisons with the ES 14mm 82s.

I'm just hoping the wide field views don't look weak compared to the 25x100s. Kevin at Oberwerk assures me that the 82mm scope with the ED lenses and the change in magnification will hold it's own against the larger aperture binoculars on those dim DSOs. And I admit, I am anxious to see Jupiter and Saturn in them.
