    Default Looking small -quality binocular.

    Hello,
I am looking for a good quality binocular for wide angle views of landscape or astronomical vistas.I like one with no too much weight, maneageable, maybe a 7x50 is not for me, as I have 55 "summers", I like also one model similar to a 8X30 Nikon II (Anniversary is best..?) o Swarovski 8x30 Habicht, I search one with a big field, contrast excellent and good Edge...may be a Leica model, but it´s Price,a good pocket bino can be a good contender ?...umm! I like know your opinión on this theme…
    Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure what is available to you, but the manufacturers you are considering certainly make excellent binoculars.

For astronomy purposes, I would want more aperture than 30mm. Although the Canon 30mm image stabilized binoculars are popular, but the image stabilization adds a lot to the cost. For a more standard pair, I would consider something like a 8x42.

I have a pair of Nikon 7x21 for general daytime viewing. I like them a lot and they easily fit in a pocket. Just had them out this morning to view an eagle that landed in a tree near my home. I have taken them on trips for work, before retirement, to the southern hemisphere where bringing astro gear was not warranted and they have served well for quick views of the southern sky sights like the LMC and SMC.
