    Default how to connect SLR camera to binocular astrophotography?



    I want to connect my SLR nikon D40x photo camera to 10x50 binocular to shoot moon,etc...Is that possible; can T-Adapter that is used for telescopes is also possible with binoculars? How to connect camera to binoculars to shoot moon ?

    This would not work well. You will have a lot of trouble connecting the camera to the binoculars, and the image is likely to show vignetting. You'll do much better using a telephoto lens or a regular telescope, for which camera adapters are available.

    Look at your binoculars. Do you see a T thread anywhere? You can't use a T adapter. Question answered.

    What you can try is afocal photography. Point the binoculars at the Moon, point the camera in to the binoculars, focus and shoot.
