Hi All,
Have been around now for a few months, so I would Intro myself here in the Melb Vic area.
It would be good to know of any others here in the good old Melb area.

Hi guys. Western subs of Melbourne. Love visual observing in my back yard. Member of ASV and have been up to Heathcote dark sky site a couple of times. After seeing a truely dark sky, it really shows up the light pollution in Melbourne.
Clear skies

Hello
I'm from Williamstown. I have been a member for a couple about 6 months now and purchased a Saxon 8" dob about a month ago. Have only used it in my backyard so far and I can only imagine what it would be like to go bush to see the "real" sky at night. Even with a street light shining on me at night I have had some fantastic views of the sky

i'm not a member of the melbourne or victorian amateur astronomical group but am considering the mornington peninsula group (only 20mins from their observing site at The Briars, Mornington) but don't have much info on the group(s).
