A good days work done. The end product I'm very happy with. But what do you think all criticisms and advice happily accepted.

It WILL WORK.... but it looks to me more like a Denver chair then the Catperch chair but maybe I just can't see the notches to lock the chair into position...

I'm a chair guy (seriously it took me 30+ year in this hobby to figure out just what a chair did) ....looking back over my first 30 years that I did without a chair makes me wonder what I never saw because of fatigue etc...

My only concern is the length of the supports on the bottom (front and back) ...they just look a tad short but again picture sometimes do not show things correctly...

Otherwise ...Ya got yourself a good chair which will improve your vision and that is the main reason for a chair ...not to save you butt or legs...

Thanks Bob. Its plenty stable I've just come in from a spell of looking in between clouds. The chair is comfortable especially with a cushion I pinched from my wife's chair. It does have notches that the back bolt sits in, Holding the seat in place. The width of the feet are 15" I even had a go at standing on the seat when it was situated midway. I think the solidness comes more from the triangle structure than its width. Any way it works.

    Pete:

LOL I was going to suggest a cushion... been there done that but my wife has eagle eyes and I got caught stealing (borrowing) one from the house...

Ended up buying a small Kick board at the pool store (CHEAP) semi soft too...trimmed it a little then just glued it to the seat

GLAD you put in notches...makes all the difference in the world especially is you "squirm" around on the seat as I do...
