Default College recommendations for a planned major in mathematics, physics, or astrophysics?

My main interests are in mathematics, physics, and astrophysics. My weighted GPA is about 4.2, unweighted 4.0/3.9. I'm at a highly ranked high school in the US, however there is no class ranking. I have many extracurriculars (yearbook, robotics, math club, elementary school tutoring, work as lab assistant with teacher). 800 on Math II, 740 on Chemistry, 223 on PSAT.

Which colleges/universities do you recommend for majoring in mathematics, physics, or astrophysics? My only criterion is that it is not in California, because I'm from there and I want simply to go somewhere else. I'd be happy to go to a university anywhere else or even abroad.

I went to school in San Diego, La Jolla to be specific and I ended up doing astrophysics (just graduated class of 2008) at UC Berkeley.

I know you don't want to hear CA places, but i'll list them along with some of the other schools that I thought about applying to and I'm thinking of applying to for grad school:

    UC Irvine
    UC Berkeley (obv)
    UC Santa Cruz
    San Diego State University
    Caltech

UCSD is ok, but they're not really as good as the others and UCLA is nowhere near these guys. Stanford is alright as well but since Berk and Stan are rival schools I'll never recognize them as an official school :P

As for the ones outside CA, there's obviously

    Harvard
    MIT

    and then there's

    Univ. of Arizona
    Univ. of Colorado
    Univ. of Washington state
    Univ. of Hawaii

These are just some starters, I'm sure if you look up astrophysics schools online you'll find some more. I hope that helps.
