Thanks n_FA. I once had a black widow crawl on my arm. I felt no gamma-ray photons, or a magnetized wind of electrons and positrons, only fear.

I remember from my student days that one of the observing crew put on a warm suit that hadn't been used all summer. Didn't check to make sure there were no black widows nesting in it beforehand. Luckily she was transported to the hospital in time.

And if you're ever observing in west Texas like McDonald? Shake out your boots every time you put them on. Scorpions.

Brodavid. I am glad you are still here and are on the forum. BTW, n_FA, I live in scorpion country, check everything. Clouds broke for about 5 minutes 30 minutes ago and got a sight of Scorpius.
