Can't help but wonder how a laser beam, being a quite focused coherent beam of light, could miss its target of a light-sail which is a fairly large target. If the laser was on a planetary base and the light-sail was, for example, 5 au distant well....hmm...yeah I may have just answered my own question. : cs:
