    Default Pluto has a tail!

    Clues From Pluto’s Ions

Pardon me.... I can't resist.... will the IAU fund a mission to turn Pluto's orbit and make it into a very large comet? That would quell the controversy.... maybe.

Dang. It's like Pluto has been reclassified from a hominid to a pongid, and is now entering the realm of haplorhine.

I just love it when new data messes with their preconceived classifications schemes. I'm a rebel that way.

Better hope the engineers at 'the other site' don't find out.

One of the ideas they bat around fairly frequently is 'soft landing' lots of comets on Mars as part of a terraforming effort.

So...why bother with lots of little comets when you've got one big one?
