Default precision astrometry of Procyon hints at surprises

Orbit of a Giant and a Dwarf

in addition to the surprise that Procyon A may be mixed beyond its convective core the story presents a cautionary tale. 50 years were needed to visually detect Procyon B after its gravitational pull was detected!

and people complain about 80 years plus to detect dark matter!
