    Weirdness stems from it being the Eve of the Eve of All Saints Day, a we'en's We'en.

    And thanks to the article's title, I have a Joe Cocker song stuck in my head.

    So, as for the article, a galaxy at a very high redshift would be farther away, hence further back in time, so these galaxies are younger, hence the AGN is still really chugging along. The pressure from the AGN is slapping the gas and dust around, kicking off an increased rate of star formation. I think I've got my hillbilly brain wrapped around it ok.
