Going to give it another shot tonight with shorter exposures.

I made what I got the other night into an animated gif. Couldn't attach it inline so here's a link to imgur.

    Hello Theriex,
I managed to find the Comet after weeks of cloud and rain!! I live in a bright Bortle 8 region (sky mag 18.44 according to Clear Outside) - there are street LED lights nearby!!
I used a Canon 100D on a tracker, and took 60 second exposures on a 50 mm lens so = 80 mm equivalent on a full frame. The comet appears as a nice green blur. I tracked the stars (sidereal tracking rate). I also tried 120 seconds in a few which gave similar results. I used various ISOs. ISO 800 was alright. I also found it at ISO1600. At lower ISO, the comet was a bit dimmer.

Interesting, I also took photos of Cygnus, and found the North American Nebula, and I think the Milky Way !!! I will try and stack these images when I have time, as I was virtually up all night and am tired. I will stack the Comet in DSS . I have not done it before !!
I am very excited!! I can see lots of red in the North American Nebula and Cygnus. I used a Skytech CLS clip filter in my Canon 100D to get the images, this may make it easier than not using a filter.

Maybe I can get really good Milky way shots even in this light pollution !!!

I'm currently imaging it before the cloud cover rolls in. I'm using a ZWO ASI-178MC (Color) CCD camera and i'm doing 75s exposures with the gain a bit higher so I can see the comet and not have star trails (guiding on the comet).

Wish I had a truck so I could drive to darker skies and get much better views, unfortunately i'm stuck with my backyard and the parking lot/complex white lights.
