    Default Rosette Nebula

I shot 20x300sec subs of the rosette nebula the other night. Calibrated with flats and bias. I had a hard time managing the "mystery gradient" I have previously posted about without startools wiping out parts of the nebula. This is the result of my best effort:

    Rosette Nebula.JPG

Not a real looker by any means.

I was hoping you guys could take a shot at it and see what more can be pulled out of it. I am definitely getting better at post-processing but still have a lot to learn! Link to .fts file below

No filter. I don't have a startools log bc I did this in the demo version. Although I have the license now so I can try redoing it

Just a quick stretch in PI and it looks like the no flats were applied. The data under neath looks good once I can remove what the flats should have fixed.

Sorry forgot to include the stretched image, I really think something went wrong with the flats there is a strong circular gradient in the center. can you post a flat that you applied?

Yea I have been having a serious issue with my flats lately... I think it might be due to the fact that I am using a threaded 1.25" barlow as my t-adapter. Might be some internal reflections from the barlow. Planning on getting an AT2FF soon so hopefully that will fix the issue.
