Default Creating an LED Flat Frame Astrophotography Light Box on the Cheap

While I was in the checkout line at Walmart, I noticed an 18, LED light string meant for a Christmas Wreath for $3.99. I bought it as I thought it could make a cool light source for a flat frame light box. I also wrote an article on creating a flat frame box using an Electroluminescent Panel. My first box was perfect for the LRGB filters but not so great for the Narrowband filters so I produced a very bright flat frame box.

I built one this weekend using the LED string and foam core and it worked out great! I wrote about my process and how the box was constructed on my website if you are interested:
