How are you converting within PS (CS5)?

    Thanks,

Ok I get that half the zeros are missing when you open a 32bit file in PS, but I swear sometimes my stretch goes much smoother if I do a levels stretch before switching to 16bit. btw I use highlight compression when going straight to 16 bit to preserve the stars, or I will do exposure gamma if I use levels in 32bit mode. not sure if I am spinning wheels but it seems to do well.
