    If you download gimp use Ninite.com they remove anything and install only the program you want. Gimp is on there with a lot of other programs
    Skywatcher Esprit 100, Skywatcher Pro 120ED, Meade ETX90, AstroTech 72ED II, Celestron C8, Astromania 60mm Guidescope, Celestron AVX Mount, Orion Atlas Mount, Explore Scientific Twilight 1, QSI 683 WSG, Astrodon Filters(LRGB and 3nm), ZWO 183MM Pro, ZWO LRGB Filters, Canon T3i & XSi(XSi is a full mod), ZWO ASI 120MC & ZWO ASI 120MM-S, as well as for the daytime a Lunt 35mm Ha Solar Telescope, Lunt 1.25 Hershel Wedge, and White Light Filters

    I have been reading all the post on this thread and find it most interesting. Some of the programmes mentioned seemed to be way above my head and my wallet so I thought that I would investigate "StarTools" which seems to have a lot going for it, my wallet could just about handle the cost and the programme seems to be quite easy to handle with people getting extremely good results. The main problem that I have at the moment is how to download it, I have tried to find some help on their home page but to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

    Good choice! You probably know that I'm quite a fan of it. On their webpage, click the Download link at the top of the page. Then look for this line:

    StarTools 1.3.3.224 (stable) for Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit, MacOSX, Linux 32-bit and Linux 64-bit (ZIP) (2.8MB)

    Click the link (ZIP) and you will be on your way...
