    Default Sequence generator pro?

Hi, I was looking at using this for capture and autofocus then moving it to Nebulosity. Is anyone doing this?
I should say I am just setting up an imaging system and looking at alternatives to maxim dl. Nebulosity I am keen on due to cost and ease of use as per reviews.
    Thanks

    What camera are you using?
    and what electronic focuser?
    what guiding setup?
    what plate solving tools?

The software looks neat provided it has compatibility with enough function-specific tools - also its price is good - compared to other megabucks software that interfaces with even more megabucks software :-)

I can only answer some questions at the moment...
Camera Qhy10 or there abouts, not purchased yet
    Starizona focuser+hyperstar on its way

Wanted to see how I go with this setup, play around with it before I look at guiding yet.

Personally, I'll be looking into this type of automation when I have an observatory and a filter wheel. At the moment I find there are just too many little things than can go wrong with my setup.

This type of thing really needs an excellent, stable polar alignment (since it is not yet possible to automate PA as part of a script)

By going this route, I was trying to avoid PA, wedge and guide system initially. Before I fork out on software and while I learn, hopefully on something easier I was just looking for alternatives...SGpro, Nebulosity and starshoot. All thoughts very welcome.

I see - you are looking at short exposures via the Hyperstar on the alt/az mount? 15-30 seconds max?
    Should be interesting!

Yes indeed. I just cannot believe how complex and expensive this is becoming! Above all else the software learning curve worries me. At least the way the weather has been, there's plenty of time to learn!
