    Default Photoshop



    I have a picture of the Orion Nebula, nothing special, just the grey mass of stars and gas. How would I bring out it's colors in photoshop? Suggestions for effects, filters, ect to use in Photoshop?

    Google photoshop tutorials for astrophotography, you will find hundreds of them.
    This used to be a great place to hang out but now it is not safe here anymore.

    First do a level layer then curves adjustments. Try this link:

    If the above link doesn't work try searching for the Doug German you tube videos on levels and curves. That should help get the color back in. Then it's a matter of not blowing out the core while getting the nebulosity showing.
