    Thanks Gordon. I used the software to try this image but in the trial version. You cannot save from the trial version and I wanted to make sure that I could get to the history file before I bought the software. It really is incredible and so easy to use.....

    I agree Chuck.

    Ivo has done an amazing job developing StarTools. He keeps and eye out here on the forum so if you have any processing questions post them up and I'm sure he will jump in to help.

    If you have images that have gradients, vignetting, live in a light polluted area or have coma (as I do on all accounts!) Startools has a number of very powerful tools to correct for those issues.

    PS remember it's the prize being given away for the processing challenge!

    I know...just like the Lottery! So here is my attempt. I used Paint.net because at least it shows the history. I have to write everthing down in Gimp. But it doesn't come close to what I was able to do in StarTools.

    The raw data supplied for this challenge (thanks Jeff!) is pretty clean and easy to work with. It's the really dirty data (like my stuff) that Startools shine!
