Default Which Software to use for Astrophotography Post Processing.

    Hi All
I was hoping for some guidance on what software is the best/popular/performance/easy workflow etc. for astrophotography post processing.
    My setup is as follows.
    Celestron 6SE
    Canon 50D
    Neximage
    EP's from 32,25,12.5,6,3 also a 9mm Televue
    3x meade tele extender
    2x Barlow
Celestron tele extender with mount for 50D

I will be stacking from stills taken with the 50D and stacking from the neximage videos.

I have only tried with registax6 but seems a bit diffcult/confusing with weird named options, i.e. wavelets.

I know nothing will be really easy or maybe I need more than one program so if I'm going to invest time/money in learning a program/s I would rather not be told that the software I chose isn't that great at a later stage.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance.

This is the first image I took through my new gear. Zoom in to see two moons of Jupiter I think. They could do with brightening up, just need to learn how.

Many Registax 6 users have gone back to Registax 5 because of many problems/crashes. There are many YouTube tutorials that show you how to use Registax (and more importantly, what to ignore!).
