Took 20 shots deep sky stacker used 8 of them plus darks, bias and flats
still on the learning curve but they are improving each time.
Processed in Gimp, been playing around with an old copy of PS elements but its not coming out as good as this one

That's a heck of a lot better than my first try at processing.
It looks great! But I think more exposure time would help make a stunning image.

Various scopes and such.
45 sec. each ISO 1600 took 20 frames, but it was windy so I had to discard some and DSS used 8 of the ones left.
Figured I would start at a lower number of frames to start with, just to see how it came out.
Next outing I will take more.

There is a wealth of information in the processing forum on different ways of extracting the most data from your images that might help.
