    Nice picture, alpha.
    Please give us some details about the equipment you've used to take the picture (telescope, camera model, exposure time).
    There is some noise in the picture - you may consider taking dark frames + multiple shots to stack them together.

    the camera is Nikon D-5000 opened for 30 seconds.

    There is colony of street lights arround my house. I will take photo for the same target from the desert and see how it compares.

    I will appreciate any advice on how to make my photos better. I will continue to read though.

    I am real sorry about that alpha. It was in your post. It would make an interesting comparison between the two of them.. Look forward to the next image.
    As a matter of interest, what image processing software do you currently have?

    I use software called "capture nx2" basicly to increase the light.

    But I can use advice on other software as I have no clue what is out there. nx2 came with my camera.
