Turbulence was pretty bad, so focusing was very hard. Shot with a Nikon D50 attached to Celestron NexStar 8SE with a T-ring/adapter.

Thanks. It was tricky because I was trying to get the focus right through all the hazy air before the moon completely rose above the trees. Made for some frantic moments.

Beautifull shots Fuzz! How far away are those trees?
The trees are about 4.5 miles away, at ~11,500 feet (I'm at 8,700 feet).
