Default Moon and Saturn 8th July 2019

    Hey all!

I had my first clear night in July and I was able to take two pictures of moon craters (Theophilus and Cyrillus) and Saturn. Now that Saturn is in opposition, the Seeliger effect is clearly visible.

    Zaprudnya, Moscow region, Russia

    TS-Optics UNC 10" f/5, ZWO ASI178MC, ZWO ADC, 2x Barlow.

700 frames (Moon craters) and 4500 frames (Saturn) stacked.

    Thanks for looking.

I could see your moon picture. Saturn showed up nicely -- and it's quite good.

Hello ArdDM. Very nice central peaks and collapsed walls in Crater Theophilus. And also a nice creamy color Saturn with excellent belting and Cassini rings. Thanks for sharing your images with us on here ArdDM, and keep up this great work.
