Default NGC 4696 -- not much to look at

The night offered only moderately clear. Passing clouds. No guiding possible. I was fishing for a target in the southern sky and decided to try this one, even though I knew it would be small in my FOV with the short tube refractor.

NGC4696 (plus some other faint fuzzies if you look hard enough)

    36x60s WO66 on EQ-G X-A1(iso6400)

The target -- with many galaxies in the field -- seemed more interesting when I saw it in the star map. Then again, I didn't get much time on it.

Hey, I like it. Looks to me like something closer to what I might see visually.

One thing about it, Joe, you caught a lot of mass in that image. Lots of galaxies!

Hi Joe. I like your capture of NGC 4696 and companions here. A very nice look into the heavenly vault. Thanks for taking the time time to post this on here for us Joe, and the kindest of blessings.
