    Default Short run on M51

I had intended to get at least 60 x 300-second subs on this but due to clouds , I ended up with only 15 x 300-second at ISO 800. Processing was a pig as I had to fight some terrible LP and gradients, coupled with poor seeing.....And i gotta fess up, i forgot my Bat mask so the focus was off too, hence the slightly donuted stars

Processed this with PI and PS, even with both of these amazing programs and my limited skill set, this is about all I could wring out of it. Long and the short of it ...MORE T ON T REQUIRED!!!!

Anyway, for what it is I hope you can enjoy it, at least a little.

Oh, there are two extra little fuzzies too, I'll buy you a drink if you can guess what they are

    All the best

    G

PS This was taken with my SW80ED pro with a reducer. Tiny in the original FOV so it's cropped.

Indeed I did and it really does help but as M51 move up through the sky it passed out from a huge bubble of light pollution hence the crazy gradient。Many thanks
