    Default Some Galaxies...

These are from the 8th (same evening as my M1 image).

Man, galaxies are a whole new world of hurt. While I was processing these, I could hear Jim Murphy in my ear, "Time on target, time on target."

These would definitely benefit from some flats. I need to get that done.

30×45s lights, darks and bias, SV102T, AVX, ASI174MC, DSS, Star Tools, and PS.

    Messier 33 in Triangulum:

    Messier 81 in Ursa Major:

    Messier 82 in Ursa Major:

I tried for NGC 2023 (Flame Nebula) in Orion, but I missed my FOV slightly and caught a horse quite by accident. I laughed out loud when I stretched it.

    Looking good, Bryan!

You are not getting a lot of Ha data, apparent in M33, M82 and the Horsehead, so a camera that is more sensitive to it may be in your future.

    "For a friend"? Ri-i-i-ight!

I am quite happy with my Atik 383L+. OTOH, it has a 67% bigger sensor, so it doesn't get the same image scale as Bryan's ASI.

Actually, I am a bit surprised at the lack of Ha in Bryan's images. Any astro camera should be sensitive to it.
