    Default Sh2-206 Emission Nebula

For some reason this one was tricky to process, I just can't find the sharpness I'm looking for, feels a lot like processing the Flaming Star nebula that always gives me the same frustration.
Hey ho, it is what it is, over-processed for sure, but one to stick on the reprocess backlog for a rainy day.

Richard- tough to process or not, it’s beautiful!

Did you also shoot RGB for the stars? They look very natural in color. Well done!

Still looks pretty nice to me Richard. Maybe all the dust in the area "softens" any sharp features?

By the way, your link is to the Flaming Star nebula.

that is a MIGHTY fine image...

So, maybe you could sharpen it up a bit. But I like it just the way it is right now.

    Here's the real link https://www.flickr.com/photos/90472923@N03/31250384478

I'm still not sure what the reason for the softness is, perhaps seeing, something in my processing or maybe that's just the way this one is!

Thanks Mike, no I didn't do any RGB for the stars, I did tweak the colour of the larger stars to remove the purple though.

Thanks Jim, hope you get some clear skies soon.
Mosaic? Nope The camera orientation/lineup of my existing images isn't favourable, corner to corner so would need a lot of panels to square out a decent image, and the Propeller is just too far away.
