    Default Mars 2 ways

I would like opinions on these images. They are the same exact image only processed differently, mostly with the color. In my opinion if you strip away alot of the red it reveals sharper details at the cost of not really looking totally natural. What do you think? 7000 frames stacked out of just under 14000. Seeing was fairly good last night but transparency was not great due to Saharan dust in my skies. Overall I would say the storm is clearing quicker than i expected. Thanks for looking

I like the second image better but I am biased since that is the color I strive for when I image Mars.

Could you use the first image as a Lum and overlay it onto the 2nd image?

Nice pictures of Terry! I think the second shot looks less bright and more contrast. In this picture, the small details look better. In the first picture I have to strain my eyes.

I also lean toward the second image. I sure wish I could come up with an image like that. Good job, both of them.
