    Thanks all for the nice comments. It’s first image I’ve had a decent amount of time on. Was also very lucky with clear, windless skies. Didn’t lose a single sub in gathering the data. While the camera and filters are a luxury for me I was happy with the more budget Skywatcher BD ED80 and HEQ5 combination and was surprised how much less bloated the Blue channel was under darker skies. Still bloated but it didn’t seem as severe (or perhaps as messy?) as it seems to be in heavy LP. In regards to processing I did fiddle a bit with colour in GIMP. I struggle with colour in StarTools too

    The arc second per pixel calculations seems to put the focal length (600mm) in an okay zone for average seeing conditions but undersampling in great seeing conditions which is why I’m curious about undersampling :-)
