Default CEDIC Team goes La Palma II - Part#3 (Orion's Nebulae)

    Hello group,

Orion’s Nebulae is the title of our third posting of the CEDIC team showing photographic results which were captured under the skies of La Palma in November 2017. The constellation Orion and its neighborhood are well known for its famous nebulae. Besides bright objects like Messier 42 and Messier 78 also faint nebulae like NGC 1788 and IC 2118 are nice targets for astrophotography. Wide-field images are interesting, because the complete field is filled with faint nebulosity.

First, let’s visit some reflection nebulae:

Witch Head Nebula with Baader APO 95 (focal length 560mm) and 135mm wide-field:
    Christoph Kaltseis - IC2118
    Christoph Kaltseis - IC2118

    NGC 1788 with AP175 (focal length 1450mm) and TEC110 (focal length 616mm):
    Bernhard Hubl - NGC1788
    Bernhard Hubl - NGC1788

    M 78 wide-field with 200mm:
    Bernhard Hubl - M78

    IC 447 wide-field with 85mm:
Markus Blauensteiner - IC 447 wide field

Now let’s move to some images of emission nebulae:

    M 42 wide-field with 135 mm:
    Christoph Kaltseis - M42

    M 42 wide-field with 85mm:
Markus Blauensteiner - Messier 42 wide field

    IC 443 wide-field with 200mm:
    Bernhard Hubl - IC443

Overview on all results from La Palma 2017 II including background information:

    Greetings from CEDIC-Team
