    Default Ngc 2805 + 2820

NGC 2805 (PGC 26410, UGC 4936 and others) is the large spiral dominating this field located approximately 92 million light-years away in Ursa Major.

NGC 2820 (PGC 26498, UGC 4961 and others) is the somewhat edge on at the top left. It is interacting with IC 2458 (NCGC 2820A, PGC 26485 and others).

NGC 2814 (PGC 26469, UGC 4952 and others) is the galaxy to the right (west) of NGC 2802/IC 2458.

These four galaxies make up the Holmberg 124 group.

    Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
    RGB – 8:8:12x300s – 40:40:60 minutes each – binned 2x2

It's a brilliant capture -- I mean those galaxies really shine!

    Lovely combination, perfectly framed.

    Clears,
