    Default Sombrerro WIP

Here is another work in progress from data I collected Monday night. Lum frames only.

Not sure why my flats for the Lum filter did not knock down the concentric rings form the focal reducer. I had to clip some to get rid of them.

Anyhow 12 x 300 sec frames I should have the color channels soon maybe tonight if it doesent freeze to death

Gorgeous Tom! I really like these images at this stage. I'm looking forward to the colors though. Really beautiful, and very sharp to my eye.
    Thank you.

Just for the fun of it here is a basic stretch of the same frames. The flats clearly have the same concentric pattern in them but did not deal with them. I was using the batch pre processing. I might go back later and try the manual method. I really don't know why the flats did not deal with it!

No its an artifact from the FR never had it till I put it in there and it is in all frames regardless of the filter. I thought flats would deal with it.

Meh we will see once I get the complete set

Here is a stretched version of the flat... It did a great job on the dust motes, not so much on the gradients. Even background extraction doesent deal with it

That is weird, is the FR screwed all the way in? (Just asking, you gotta see my mistakes, always overlooking something simple). Of course, with AP, there always a weak(er) link...
On the other hand, the image looks great!

Yea it has a small spacer behind it then the filter wheel because of the adaptor I used.. maybe 5 mm.

I have another low profile adaptor to try and get it closer to the filter and put the spacing 'behind' the filter wheel.
