    Default Wizar nebula in narrowband

    Hi guys!!
Here I show my last image, is the object NGC7380, also called Wizard nebula. This object is an open mass in the constellation Cepheus. Located 7200 light-years away from the earth. The gas and dust, excited by the surrounding stars makes it visually have that "medieval wizard" appearance. The filters used have been Hydrogen Alpha, Sulfide and Oxygen.

    Wizar-RC-low.jpg

The equipment used was as follows:
RC10 "GSO Truss with focal reducer CCDT67 at 1515mm focal
    CCD QHY9M
    Mesu 200 mount
    Lodestar x2 Guide Camera

    The shots were as follows:
    72 x 900 "from Ha to bin1
    10 x 900 "OIII and SII to bin2

    I hope you like it!

    Regards
    Juan

Very nice closeup Juan. I really like the color scheme. The image is nice and sharp, and, almost looks 3-dimensional. Well done.

Nice and sharp and very colorful. It almost looks to me like the wizards shadow is looming behind him. Wow!
