Default IC 5070, The Pelican Nebula in HOO

Greetings. No new data for the mosaic but I did shoot some new flats, darks, and bias frames. I was using flats from over a year ago and the camera has been off the scope a couple of times and now there is an OAG in the imaging train. I was successful in using the flats with my recent imaging runs, which kind of debunks the myth about keeping everything the same when shooting your flats. Here is a HOO rendition of my Pelican data. Thanks for looking.

Imaged over multiple nights in Jul and Aug 17

That image is really coming together to be a real beauty. Very nice.

And thanks for you experience with the flats. I often wonder about that myself.

Very nice Scott! This color combination brings out the Herbig-Haro object just a little above and to the right of the Pelican's "eye". Well done.

Thanks Brad. I like using the HOO palette as it gives a good approximation of RGB but with better details.

Great detail and color, Scott. Thinking about this guy for my next session, once I check how big it is.
