    Default M5 from 'random' data...



    Here is some data I collected on M5 while working on the mount.

    It is an eclectic set which I had few calibration files for.

    Lums at 180 seconds, RG&B at 60 seconds (binned 2x2).

    A lot of noise and I could probably do better with it if I spent more time on it. But I was mostly interested in the quality of the tracking.

    Anyhow enjoy and as always comments are graciously appreciated

    Scopes: Orion 130mm APO Triplet, Orion 8" f3.6 astrograph Mount: Celestron CGX-L Guiding: Orion 60mm f4 scope, Starlight Loadstar, PHD2 software - Cams: Planetary: ASI120mc, DSO:Atik 383L+, SGPsoftware Processing : Regisax, Deep Sky Stacker, Star Tools, Pixinsight Assistant: One very large cat

    I enlarged your image 250%, tracking looks good to me. The real test will be in the 300-600 second range.

    Thanks all, yes it is nice to have good guiding even nicer that plate solves resolve in mere seconds, slewing and centering targets often hit the target dead center first pass!

    Now if I could just get the flip and park issues sorted out
