    Default Bi-Colour Heart Ha and SII



    I had some SII data for the Heart too, still waiting on the moon to clear off for the OIII, so it'll be a 2 site image when I get the SHO version together
    Here's a Ha/SII bi-colour rendition.

    Image Details:
    Total exposure 11 hours 40 mins.
    15x1200s Ha 1x1 (5hrs)
    20x1200s SII 1x1 (6hrs 40mins)
    Darks, flats and bias. -20c.
    2 Hour DSLR RGB stars.
    Optic - SW Evostar ED80 DS-PRO with SW 0.85 reducer @ 526mm focal length.
    Mount - HEQ5 PRO Synscan with Rowan Belt Drive mod.
    Sensor - Atik 383l+ Mono CCD + Baader 36mm 7nm Ha and 8nm SII..
    Guiding - ZWO ASI120MM + Orion 162mm/F3.2 guidescope with PHD2.
    Sequence Generator Pro and PixInsight.

    This is a beautifully detailed Heart pic- Love it! Although the Oiii will complete your SHO run, the current image is a keeper as-is

    A very pretty image Richard. It looks almost 3D. It also has an ethereal look to it. Lovely soft processing. A real keeper.

    It will be interesting to see what the Oiii adds.
