    Default Sunspots

Nice sunny day so I set up my little scope and grabbed a sheet of paper.
I noticed an interesting little duo of spots joined by a straight bar (it doesn't show up as clear in the photo)
    Oh for a solar scope...

    Great shots on paper!

I feel your pain. I have a white glass filter for my 10 in dob, but am also aching for a solar scope as well. My dob gets too hot with a filter.....or is it I get too hot?

Thanks guys. As is typical, I went back to the scope after posting this and the clouds rolled in!

Nice drawing! Your two spots are like the outer ends of sunspot group 2403. I just posted a closeup view taken a day earlier
