I second the thanks to everyone that voted. I didn't expect to win at all and I am very grateful This image has been printed on a canvas and hanging in my living room for a few months. Now I can look at it with even more pride!

Thanks also to Ivo for putting up the prizes, they are much appreciated by everybody.

    Here's to next quarter!

I'd also like to express my appreciation for all efforts in this competition.

There were so many deep sky entries that it may be necessary to split them up to show appreciation. Perhaps give out Gold, silver and bronze for entries in that category in the future?

On the back of that I'd like to say well done to all entrants.

Separately, I'd also like to say thanks for the software awarded and add that it is humbling to see the price you put on this software. It is clearly priced to be inclusive and I hope more people will take a look at what it has to offer.

    LOL...Thanks Paul.

I actually ran out of room in my sig with the last win, and need to come up with a new design to include this new one.

...Unless they come out with the "real" badges before then?

Just keep trying Paul, and I'm sure you'll get it one of these days. My image is proof that you don't have to have the most spectacular image in the bunch to win. Terry's image of Saturn is truly an amazing shot (way better than anything I've been able to capture so far). So it was a total shock when I got the email informing me that I had won with my image. You just never know how the voting will go. So don't get discouraged, and just keep entering! With the improvements you continue to make in your imaging it's just a matter of time.

For those that missed out on the 3rd Quarter...The 4th Quarter Contest will be here before you know it! So get out there, take those photos, and join in on the fun!!!

...and congrats again not only to those that won, but to all those that participated this Quarter! Without your entries these contests wouldn't happen.
