Saturday, right after I got my new scope and solar filter, I set up to image the sun with my Canon on the scope.

I could not get it to focus properly because whenever I got the sun in the middle of the frame where the meter was, the image did something weird, and took on a deep orange glow around the perimeter of the sun, and I was afraid I was overloading the sensor or something. Seemed it was a camera thing, not a focus thing.

Today, I went back out, and, this time I got two images of the sun if the sun was not exactly centered in the camera frame. As I centered it, the two images would converge. I'm sure that's reflection, but, I'd like to know how to correct that.

I have a C80ED, and Canon T3i. Also a glass solar filter from Orion. I'm doing prime focus.
