Default Veil Nebula East.... close up ....

I managed to get 20 x 6 minute subs last night with the new mount.
the LP was heavy enough to us the Orion imaging LP filter which helped knock down some of the sky glow and Campground lighting.
Its another learning curve with a mount capable of 10 to 20 minute subs right out of the box so each target will require different techniques.
Whats nice about the last two targets is that I could walk away from the screen and let her run..
I even set my alarm on my Cell phone ,and took a nap for the last target.
The first image was another try at the Veil East.
Amazing what you can pull out of an image with a mount that doesn't draw circles in the sky

    No Flats on this image.
    I killed them

Great shot. Is that the regular f/4.9 Orion newt? Just curious. I've been using my 8" Orion newt with my Mallincam and it works pretty well. Len

Beautiful photos, the processing is nice and smooth and you've captured a lot of really nice faint detail. That mount and scope seem to be a great pair, can't wait to see more from you.
