Arrow Winter milky Way and Vega.

Wide field image of the Milky Way and Vega.

    ISO 800
    2 X 3.30 minutes @50mm F1.4
    Stacked manually in cs4.
Might also be a meteorite just to the right of Vega...or a ufo going into warp...

    Thanks..

That isn't the ISS passing by is it? I know it was visible somewhere in your neck of the woods but no idea where.
Anyway, great picture. The milky way is such a beautiful sight.

    Declan--

    Lot's of stars! Beautiful!

By the way, that is a UFO going into warp. I catch them all the time. Glad I could help out with the ID. Next time you will know. I guess they have quit teaching these things in schools. Oh, well.

Ya, I'm on board with that. Once I was scouting around Vega and thought I saw an alien. Looked like a hooker with a bottle of J.D. Turned out to be Vegas, but still you never know.
