Default M81 M82 in Ursa major

    One for the Northern hemisphere.

My first attempt at these objects. I can see I will need to do them in a dark site to do them any justice, but here they are:

    24 x 6 minutes + darks, flats and Bias
Modified Canon EOS 450D + CLs clip filter
Telescope - WO megrez 72 APO + flattener
Guided on an ST80 with QHY5 and PHD
processed in DSS and PS CS3

What's that third fuzzy in the bottom-left? I can't see it in Stellarium.

that is cool - how wide of a lens is used to see that? does it show up because of a longer exposure or is it visible in your scope?

    Thanks everyone.
does it show up because of a longer exposure or is it visible in your scope?
It shows up in long exposure and it's quite small (this is a crop).
