Default Jupiter and his moons...the project

So here we are on December 1st (at least it still is here in Virginia) and yesterday was supposed to be the close of our little group project to capture Jupiter and the Galilean moons at the best possible scale permissible for posting here. This one is about the best I was able to pull in, I wish I could have tried on the few days when everything was bunched closer together but the weather beat me out. On the plus side, I did get all of the subjects in and the SEB outbreak as a bonus...lucky timing for a change. Did anyone else get to have a go? On another note, the C11 Edge HD is coming along nicely, I still have a short way to go with the super-fine collimation but I did finally get in a real First Light...pictures to follow soon.

Jupiter on 28 November (local time) from Ashburn, VA

    beautiful shot.
I have been trying to get out this last three weeks but for some reason San Diego decided to do a mid west climate swing.
So much for Sunny Southern California.
Anyway your image made up for it.
    Thanks

Wow, very nice! Although, I did only see to moons tonight. Not sure where the others were. Couldn't really dial in that well with the ETX-90. I figured they may have been either behind or in front of the planet. It be a nice shot to capture two moon shadows on the giant.

Great shot Brian! It is hard to keep the Jupiter details and the moons in same image!
