Some news from the kitchen The new version is coming soon and will be released around the middle of this month. There are some fixes of annoying bugs in the user interface. I just bought one 350D so will make again tests with this model (it is with Digic II processor) and if I found something it will be fixed.

As a gesture of gratitude to everyone that supported APT, there will be some features available only in the full version. For now the list is not long, but will grow.

    -Grey, green and blue skins
-Sound notification when plan is completed
-Selection of the folder where the images to be saved
    Clear skies,
    Ivo

    Hi Yoddha,

I'm having an issue running the software in Windows 7 Pro. Before I upgraded my machine to Windows 7 Pro, I was running Vista and it was working perfectly with my Canon EOS 350D with a cable I made to long exposures and I was about to purchase your software but now it doesn't want to work with my Windows 7, it doesn't seem to be firing the command to open the shutter via my homemade cable. I've tried running in Administrator mode and Vista compatibility mode but no luck... The SERIAL to USB converter is definitely working because I tested it controling my scope.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hi AstroBrandy,

It sounds strange, but the good news is that two weeks ago I bought one 350D and also have in the office machine with Win7. The bad news is that will not be able to make the tests before next week

Can I ask you what machine are you using? May be there is need to make the firing signal little bit longer. But let see what tests will show first.
    Clear skies,
    Ivo

    Hi AstroBrandy,

I just made the Win7 test on a desktop PC. It works fine with the "Astronomiser" cable I have. If you want please send me as private message your email and I'll prepare special version to test if it will work for your configuration.

There is a new page named "Suggest" on the site, where everybody can make suggestions, propose new objects for the catalog, give feedback or thoughts related to APT. This is one more way for contact
